In recent years, Geovent has focused on reducing its carbon footprint.
Replacement to LED light sources, installation of district heating and intelligent control of the exhaust system are good examples.
We have just completed a project “Climate Ready Manufacturing” sponsored by the Industry Fund.
In the project we have had our first Co2 calculation done, so we know how much Co2 we emit and where this Co2 is created.
Now we want to look at how best to move forward in the process of reducing our Co2 footprint.
We need to explore options internally, but we also need to have a close dialogue with our suppliers of steel, engines, transport, packaging, etc., as these make up a large part of our Co2 footprint.
In the picture Rasmus is standing with our certificate of completed “Climate Ready Manufacturing” project. Rasmus is responsible for our packaging project, which will be implemented in autumn 2022, reducing our Co2 footprint.
We look forward to making an effort to reach the ambitious Danish target of 70% Co2 reduction by 2030.
